The short version
CalcGarage's calculators run entirely in your browser. Nothing you type into any tool is sent to a server, stored, or seen by anyone. The site uses standard analytics to count visits and, like most free websites, shows advertising, which involves cookies from the ad provider. That's the whole picture; the sections below spell it out.
What the calculators collect
Nothing. Tyre sizes, gear ratios, fuel figures and everything else you enter are processed by JavaScript on your own device and are never transmitted. Refreshing the page clears them.
Analytics
This site uses a web analytics service to understand aggregate traffic: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what devices they use. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. It's used solely to understand which tools are useful and to improve the site.
Advertising and cookies
CalcGarage displays adverts served by Google AdSense, which keeps the tools free. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data from partner sites at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Where required by law, you'll be shown a consent prompt before any advertising cookies are set, and you can decline them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of personal data an organisation holds about you. CalcGarage itself holds none: there are no accounts, no forms that store submissions, and no databases of visitor information. For data processed by Google through analytics or advertising, the controls linked above apply, and Google's own privacy policy governs that processing.
